What is Electrolysis?
Electrolysis is permanent hair removal achieved over time.
Electrolysis is the decomposition of body tissue, particularly hair root protein, by means of electricity and salt water. A very fine probe or filament is inserted following the hair to the follicle where current is applied to destroy the hair follicle. For centuries unwanted hair has presented problems and embarrassment for individuals. Electrolysis is the only permanent method accepted by the FDA destroying the hair papilla, preventing further hair growth.

TREATMENT PROCESS
Electrolysis usually takes 12-24 months depending on the person to complete. Electrolysis involves a series of treatments broken into 3 periods.
1st Period
1 to 4 months
Initially hairs are in all different stages of growth and the area requires frequent, regular treatments. With regular scheduled appointments, the new emerging hairs will be treated during the anagen stage.
1st clearing is accomplished!
2nd Period
4 to 12 months
Reduction of hair is apparent and growth slows down. Appointments for scheduled clearing of "regrowth" spread out.
3rd Period
12 to 18 months (may be longer)
Appointments further spread-out.
Clean-up appointments complete the treatment process.
