My Thoughts on PCOS
So as I have many, many women who have been diagnosed with PCOS which is polycystic ovarian syndrome (or assume they have it and diagnosed themselves) some have wondered if they should go to a doctor in order to get their hormones under control before they start electrolysis treatments.
My thoughts on this are, first it can take quite awhile before your doctor gets you under control. In that time frame while you are waiting, it could takes 6 months or a year possibly and as you are patiently waiting on medications to help hormone levels you could have started electrolysis treatments and could have seen great improvements by then. Secondly the hairs will still need to be treated that are there and won’t just fall out just because you are hormone stable. They just shouldn’t get any worse.
So my thoughts are, if you have PCOS or think you do, and want to start treatments I would suggest looking into electrolysis because you may be very happy you did instead of waiting for who knows how long for hormones to be at the perfect levels.
